1930s Style Truvoice Operadio Portable Public Address System Microphone
We are not absolutely sure if this 1930s Style Truvoice Operadio Portable Public Address System Microphone is actually a microphone or a loudspeaker.
Approximate Size:
- Frame Width: 14cm
- Microphone face diameter: 11 cm
- Microphone Rear Diameter:- 8cm
In fair cosmetic condition with surface blemishes and dents commensurate with age. It's not in working condition and could possibly be a hybrid of vintage parts. It's certainly unique! However, it would make a fantastic display item for the shack or as a movie prop!
We think the external elements of the 'microphone' including the chrome suspension bracket were made by Radiospares (RS)/ H Selmer & Co Ampilifiers, who used the brand name Truvoice particularly for their guitar amplifiers and loudspeakers.
It is labelled:-
